School officially starts today,I’ma hop the train in like 40 min to hit up the place, but for now lets talk about some art related things.

I’ve recently noticed how intertwined the art world is in relation to the fashion world. For example, I went to Barney’s Department Store for the first time in my life. When I first walked in and saw their jewelery cases I thought, aha, how minimalist. The pieces were quiet and small, but occasionally I’d see something with amazing detailed craftsmanship. I suppose if you think about it things like goods, fashion, jewelery are all pretty much part of the craft genre which is like a side category of art in some ways but created more for utilitarian purposes.
It seems like there is alot of support for artists in more exclusive higher end stores, like barneys I noticed that they had like sculptures and painted figurines, ect. for sale.

Even in fashion magazines one can occasionally see articles about artists or pieces of art, gallery shows, etc.
